Rates
I do my best to accommodate people’s financial circumstances by providing some sliding scale where it is needed. To do so requires an in-person consultation.
Insurance
I do not participate with any insurance plans. That said, my services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Where you choose to access your insurance benefits I will provide you with a bill that you may submit to your carrier. However I require payment in full at the time I render my bill. In filing a claim you would request that any payment be made to you directly.
Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician
Reduced Fee
Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.
Payment
Cash or check are accepted for payment.
Cancellation Policy
If we decide to work together we first agree on a time and day that become your regular appointment hour(s). We are each making a commitment to that time to work but obviously, emergencies happen. I can accommodate cancellations on an emergency basis that are equal to twice the number of weekly sessions per year that may be cancelled without charge to you. So, for example, if we agree to meet twice per week that would mean four cancellations per calendar year that neither require a make-up appointment nor that I charge you for the missed time. Other than that I will require 48 hours notice in order to schedule a make-up appointment. However, if you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have provided less than 48 hours advance notice, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Do know that missed or cancelled appointments cannot be charged to your insurance company.
